Job Description
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including transport, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with a broad base of customers, addressing their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and mentor regional staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Performance Monitoring: Set and monitor KPIs for the region, ensuring operational targets are met and identifying areas for improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute regional logistics strategies aligned with company goals, taking into account market trends and customer requirements.
- Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations adhere to local regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on regional performance, challenges, and opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or 4 years equivalent experience, required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management or a related role, required
- Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and distribution practices, required
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, required
- Proven ability to manage a broad base of customers and maintain high satisfaction levels, required
- Analytical skills to monitor performance metrics and optimize operations, required
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, required
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems, required
