Senior Project Manager, New Product Development

Tongrun Innovation is a rapidly growing product development group supporting customers across the full product lifecycle, from engineering design and regulatory consultation through prototype fabrication, regulatory certification, manufacturing launch, and volume production support. Our customers range from startups to corporations with household names, but our goal is consistent: serve as an extension of the customer’s team and help bring successful products to market.

Senior Project Manager

Job Functions:

• Manage customer-driven product development programs as part of a small multidisciplinary team
• Maintain schedules, action items, open issues, deliverables, and customer-facing project status
• Own project outcomes against scope, schedule, budget, and risk
• Interface directly and manage relationships with customers, vendors, engineers, and manufacturing partners
• Develop project management tools, reporting methods, and internal processes as the company grows
• Travel (including international) up to 20% as project demands

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of demonstrable performance in a relevant field
• Ability to operate in both a startup and corporate format to match customer budget and needs
• Direct experience with physical product development, product testing, or manufacturing NPI
• Ability to lead technical project execution from within a cross-functional team
• Experience with regulated, compliance-driven, or documentation-heavy product environments
• Background in FDA Class II medical device products preferred
• Comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving company with evolving tools and processes
• Customer-facing professionalism suitable for project point-of-contact responsibilities
• Detail-oriented, organized, and disciplined in follow-through
