The Engineering Director is responsible for shaping strategic direction, building and leading a high-performing engineering team, and fostering a culture of innovation and creative design. This individual will independently develop and execute a vision that positions Angelus as a leader in Aerospace and Defense interconnect solutions.

Additional Responsibilities And Opportunities

• Lead with Vision: Define and execute long-term engineering strategies, technical road maps, and annual initiatives aligned with company goals.
• Build & Inspire Teams: Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering leaders and teams.
• Drive Innovation: Foster a creative, forward-thinking engineering culture that supports breakthrough product development.
• Operational Excellence: Implement best practices, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 12+ years of engineering experience (aerospace/defense preferred)
• 4+ years leading engineering leaders
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with budgeting and continuous improvement
