Job Description:

Tableau Data Visualization Engineer

• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Visualization (Data Engineering will be plus).
• Strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Python, SQL (strong), and Snowflake (plus) to support enterprise analytics and reporting.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining interactive dashboards, executive scorecards, and self-service reporting solutions using Tableau (mandatory) and Power BI (preferred).

• Proficiency in:
• Data validation, quality assurance, and governance
• Data extraction and transformation (data modeling will be a plus)
• Data analysis using Snowflake, SQL, and dbt (dbt cloud will be a plus)
• Insight generation, storytelling, and business presentations
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of large datasets, SQL queries, and BI reports/dashboards.
• Strong understanding of visualization best practices, dashboard design standards, and data storytelling techniques to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA), troubleshooting, and issue resolution for data and reporting-related challenges.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate them into analytical solutions, and deliver actionable insights.
• Maintain project documentation, technical specifications, and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Provide L0 and L1 production support as needed, ensuring timely resolution of operational and reporting issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
