I’m hiring for a Founding Software Engineer to join an early-stage AI startup building voice agents for trades and field services.

The product helps businesses automate real operational workflows, including customer service, out-of-hours calls, sales, appointment confirmations, scheduling and field engineer admin.

This is a high-ownership founding role where you’ll build core product features, work directly with customers, and help shape the engineering culture from the ground up.

You’ll work across LLMs, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, real-time automation, cloud infrastructure, event-driven systems and third-party integrations.

The role:

- Build across Python, TypeScript and cloud infrastructure

- Own features across frontend, backend and infrastructure

- Work directly with customers to understand problems and deliver solutions

- Move quickly on MVPs while building scalable foundations where needed

- Help shape product direction, technical standards and team culture
