About The Role
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast-paced CPG environment. This role oversees safety, training, inventory accuracy, labor planning, and the full lifecycle of inbound, outbound, and value-added activities.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who builds strong teams, drives operational excellence, and ensures the warehouse consistently meets customer, regulatory, and company standards.

- Oversee all warehouse functions including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and returns
- Ensure daily operational targets are met (productivity, accuracy, on-time shipment, throughput)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment
- Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Customer Service, Transportation, and Production to ensure smooth flow of goods
- Own warehouse safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective action plans
- Lead safety meetings and reinforce a strong safety culture
- Ensure proper operation and certification of PIT/forklift equipment
- Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates and leads
- Build onboarding, cross-training, and certification programs
- Provide performance feedback and support employee development
- Foster a positive, high-performance team culture
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and root cause analysis
- Partner with inventory control to maintain accuracy and reduce variances
- Oversee FIFO/FEFO execution and CPG traceability requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost
- Utilize WMS/ERP systems to manage workflows and maintain data integrity
- Track and report daily/weekly/monthly KPIs
- Ensure accuracy of documentation (BOLs, COAs, shipment records, compliance documents)
- 5+ years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience (CPG, food, or beverage strongly preferred)
- Experience managing teams of 10–20+ employees in a high-volume environment
- Strong understanding of OSHA and warehouse safety standards
- Experience with WMS/ERP systems and KPI reporting
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Forklift/PIT certification preferred
Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors. While the range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description, the final offer amount will depend on the factors listed above.
