Communities In Schools of High Point is seeking a paid summer intern to support donor relations, fundraising preparation, and community engagement. This is a great opportunity for a student interested in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, communications, public relations, business, or community impact.
The intern will assist with donor research, database updates, thank-you correspondence, sponsorship prospect lists, grant research, and preparation for upcoming fundraising efforts. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, curious, detail-oriented, and interested in learning how nonprofit fundraising supports direct services for students and families.
Hours: 10 hours per week
Pay: $17/hour
Schedule: Flexible; some work may be completed remotely
Preferred skills: Strong writing, attention to detail, comfort with spreadsheets/databases, professionalism, and interest in nonprofit work
