Quantitative Developer (C#)

New York City - hybrid

Base Salary up to $200k + Bonus


I’m currently partnered with a leading global financial institution hiring a Quantitative Developer to join a front-office team focused on building high-performance trading and analytics platforms used directly by business stakeholders.

This role sits at the intersection of quantitative engineering, distributed systems, and front-office platform development. You’ll work closely with trading, risk, treasury, and finance teams to design scalable systems that solve complex inventory, optimization, and trading workflow problems.


Key areas of focus:

• Building quantitative analytics and trading applications end-to-end

• High-performance backend engineering in modern C# / .NET

• Data-intensive systems and large-scale analytics pipelines

• Performance optimisation, concurrency, and memory-efficient computing

• Python-based analytics and research tooling

• Front-office tooling and platform engineering


Ideal background:

• 2–5 years’ experience as a Quant Developer, Quant Strat, or Software Engineer within trading or financial markets

• Strong C# / .NET engineering skills

• Experience with Python and SQL

• Strong understanding of scalable systems and performance optimisation

• Experience working with large datasets and analytics platforms

• Exposure to trading systems, prime brokerage, securities lending, or swaps is beneficial


Tech environment includes:

C#, .NET, Python, SQL, Azure, Snowflake, Docker, Kubernetes


Compensation: Base salary up to $200k + strong bonus potential
