Scope Of Position

The Manager, Healthcare Product Strategy is responsible for driving growth and innovation across the Healthcare market segment by identifying emerging needs, translating customer insights into actionable product strategies, and shaping long‑term portfolio direction. This role serves as the voice of the healthcare customer for CS, ensuring product solutions deliver meaningful value, align with industry trends, and create sustainable competitive advantage. The position works cross‑functionally with Product Management, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to build and execute winning strategies for new and adjacent markets.

This role leads the strategic development of healthcare‑focused product solutions and service ventures. Responsibilities include analyzing market dynamics, identifying competitive differentiation opportunities, building first‑mover or fast‑follower strategies, and leading business case development for new offerings.

  • Guide the overarching product strategy for the Healthcare Market and represent the customer voice across CS.
  • Engage with architects, designers, facility managers, contractors, healthcare staff, and other decision‑makers to uncover pain points and emerging trends. Conduct VOC programs and competitive analysis to inform innovation.
  • Monitor competitor activity and marketplace trends in technology, value delivery, codes, new materials, aesthetics, life safety, sustainability, resiliency etc.
  • Define, own, and improve the healthcare product roadmap. Partner with Product Management, R&D, Operations, and Marketing to deliver new concepts from exploration through commercialization.
  • Articulates value proposition and advises on the marketing strategy and messaging for the product line.
  • Collaborates with finance, accounting and business unit management to assemble and evaluate market potential and financial forecasts for the Healthcare market.

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required)

  • Bachelor’s degree; Business, Architecture, or Industrial Design preferred. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years within healthcare industry – Hospital, Continuous Care, Behavior Health, & Retail Medical.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, financial drivers, and industry trends.
  • Proven experience translating customer insights into product solutions.
  • Experience in innovation frameworks preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in systems manufacturing, including the integration of a wide range of products and technologies

Pay & Benefits

  • Annual Salary Range: $120,000 – $158,000. Range will vary by experience and geographic market.
