Project description 📝
You will work closely with and support our ERP program, as well as collaborate with other IT teams. In this role, you will work alongside Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, suppliers, and inspiring business stakeholders. You will report directly to the Project Owner.
About The Role
We are currently looking for a hands-on Senior Project Manager with strong technical understanding of domain-related solutions, as well as confidence in project management and the timely delivery of development projects. The purpose of this role is to lead multiple international projects. The selected candidate should bring experience in service management, software architecture, cloud services, and API management.
Supplier management should be within your comfort zone, and you should be willing to take a hands-on approach when needed, for example in defining and testing project deliverables.
In this role, you will create project plans, organize resources, help define project scope, and ensure appropriate reporting for Sanoma’s ongoing and future initiatives. You will also support the Product Owner and Business Analyst in delivering projects on time.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in projects by providing leadership, solution-oriented thinking, and structure for both internal and external teams.
- Bridge the gap between the platform team and various operating companies regarding end-to-end application development, operations, and maintenance.
- Lead supplier activities in line with contractual agreements.
- Coordinate troubleshooting, support, and service activities.
- Maintain relationships with technology, software, and security vendors.
- Manage relationships with business stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with current and upcoming compliance requirements, regulations, services, and developments within the area.
✅ 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
✅ Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Manager or in a comparable role.
✅ Experience managing multiple international projects simultaneously.
✅ Experience working with distributed application development teams in large international organizations.
✅ Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to understand end-to-end processes.
✅ English proficiency: C1/C2 (both written and spoken communication).
