Who are IDHL?

At IDHL, we’re more than a digital agency, we’re a strategic partner to ambitious brands, helping them accelerate growth in the digital economy.

Our expertise is delivered through three core divisions: Performance, Web & eCommerce, and Intelligence – all working closely together to create impact across channels.

We’re also home to Fostr, a Shopify Plus agency for luxury and lifestyle brands, and The MTM Agency, specialists in integrated marketing and audience engagement.

What connects it all is our focus on outcomes, not just outputs. We back each other, take pride in what we do, and make sure the way we work works for everyone.

Role Overview

This role is based in the Leeds office and will focus primarily on Ingenuity Digital Limited, with scope to support wider group activities as the role develops. It offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to help design and embed new finance processes—particularly around cost tracking and vendor onboarding—within a growing group environment.

Once core processes are established, the role will expand to include broader month-end and management accounting support across the group. The role is well suited to someone keen to progress within finance and continue studying towards a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA or CIMA).

Key Responsibilities

Process development and control:

  • Design and implement new processes for vendor onboarding and cost tracking
  • Investigate and support the use of project accounting functionality within Sage Intacct
  • Transition existing revenue and cost activity onto new processes and ensure ongoing compliance
  • Monitor and report against established processes, identifying issues and improvement opportunities

Operational finance and month-end support:

  • Calculate and maintain sales commission schedules for group sales teams
  • Support month-end activities including purchase ledger, sales ledger, revenue reconciliations, bank and credit card reconciliations

General responsibilities:

  • Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
  • Provide cover for finance team members during periods of absence
  • Manage the shared finance inbox and support audit queries
  • Undertake ad hoc finance tasks as required

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Strong attention to detail with a process-driven mindset
  • Good Excel skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an accounting or finance environment
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with strong ownership of tasks

Desirable:

  • Experience using Sage Intacct
  • Exposure to project accounting

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be studying towards, or willing to begin studying towards, a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA or CIMA). The business will provide appropriate support for professional development.
