What You'll Do
- Maintain store appearance with a focus on prime shopping hours, product presentation and company standards.
- Ensure the store is always guest ready through effective replenishment.
- Order general merchandise from approved suppliers. Communicate with vendors and select items for order.
- Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer centric mindset.
- Readily adjust schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs.
- Review department operating record and make adjustments to meet budget objectives.
- Analyze daily/weekly sales reports and propose product movement and rotation, including between onsite and online channels.
- Audit regularly to ensure standard operating procedures are being adhered to.
- Assist customers with locating product; listen to customer comments and provide an excellent customer experience.
- Instruct and train department employees in their responsibilities; complete employee performance evaluations.
- Check on recalls; remove product and return as directed.
- Verify billing and paperwork. Record delivery of merchandise, compare records with merchandise order, and report discrepancies to control costs and maintain correct inventory levels.
- Develop display techniques for effective merchandising. Hang price tags and face product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
You’ll also need…
- You must be at least 18+ years of age or older
- Complete a pre-employment background check
- Previous minimum of one-year experience in a general merchandise department.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and push up to 40 pounds at times.
