This entry-level, full-time role as a Junior IT Specialist – Desktop Support is based on-site in Tampa, FL. The Junior IT Specialist will be responsible for providing desktop and end-user support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network systems, ensuring network security, and managing technical tickets. The role will involve guided collaboration with teams and direct interaction with end-users to deliver effective IT support and solutions.

• Proficiency in Network Administration and Information Technology to support infrastructure needs
• Strong Troubleshooting skills to address hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Understanding of Network Security principles to ensure reliable and secure systems
• Customer Service skills to provide excellent end-user support and address inquiries effectively
• Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to emerging technologies and tools
• Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent) are a plus
• Strong organizational skills and technical problem-solving capabilities
