The role
We’re hiring a Head of Partner Marketing & Communications to own our next wave of OEM partnerships; from onboarding to long-term activation and defining and executing a practical strategy to increase our visibility beyond Europe to the USA and Asian market. Your goal is to build relationships with marketing teams at these automotive / OEM partners and turn those relationships into real activations that drive discovery and usage. Think partner social campaigns, newsletter placements, dealership presence, events and coordinated PR moments.
This is a startup/SME role: You will lead a small but broad team: a Marketing Manager and Marketing Intern who own the existing relationships day-to-day and keep the broader marketing operation running. Your job is to set direction and maintain quality, while keeping focus on your own deliverables.
What You’ll Own
- All incoming new OEM partners: relationship, joint marketing plan, activations, and long term visibility
- Develop repeatable partner activation playbooks that make partners look innovative and make AirConsole shine
- Own partner storytelling and messaging: help partners communicate the “why” and “what’s new” clearly and brand-safely
- Own budget planning and allocation across partner activations, content, PR support, and experiments
- Leverage our stakeholders (PR agency, Audio Visual agency, designer, and others) to maxime reach for launches and announcements
- Drive hands-on execution when needed: briefs, copy, toolkits, content direction, internal alignment
- Lead and develop your team (Marketing Manager + Marketing Intern): prioritization, delegation, coaching, quality control
- Define and execute a visibility strategy for the USA and Asia (channels, narratives, partnerships, and a realistic plan)
- Experience in a startup/SME or other high-ownership environment (limited resources, fast iteration)
- Proven B2B relationship building: you’ve influenced external partner stakeholders to take action
- Strong marketing fundamentals and execution (campaigns, messaging, communications, partner-ready assets)
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on delivery: you ship, not only manage
- Strong English communication (written and verbal)
- A structured working style to manage multiple parallel workstreams
- Able to work on-site in Zurich
- Willing to travel and work on the ground to find the right opportunities and people
- German language skills
- Automotive, gaming, consumer tech, or platform experience
- Experience working with outsourced services providers and approvals layers with legal implications
- Experience expanding visibility into the USA and/or Asia
- Partners actively promote AirConsole through repeatable activations (not one-off announcements)
- Strong champions exist in partner marketing teams (not only procurement or engineering)
- You are a trusted point of contact inside each new partner's marketing team
- A clear narrative that makes partners look innovative and helps AirConsole stand out
- Increased visibility and inbound interest, especially in the USA and Asia
- The marketing team ships consistently with a clear quality bar and cadence
