Lead the charge in automotive quality and process improvement! KPIT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Team Lead to join our growing team in Ingolstadt, Germany. You will be instrumental in driving ASPICE Level 2 readiness across key automotive platforms and ensuring seamless delivery for a major automotive OEM.

Role Overview:

As a Technical Team Lead – ASPICE & Tooling, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of work package 1 (WP1), coordinating stakeholders, and driving ASPICE Level 2 readiness across platforms including MEB, MQB, and PPE. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of ASPICE principles, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing complex projects within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate the delivery of WP1, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage and communicate effectively with stakeholders and within local teams (fluent German language skills are essential).
  • ASPICE Compliance: Oversee gap assessments, approve action plans, and verify the closure of findings to achieve and maintain ASPICE Level 2 readiness.
  • Agile Integration: Coordinate onsite workshops, participate in PI Planning, and ensure alignment with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
  • Documentation & Evidence: Review and approve process documentation and assessment evidence.
  • Reporting & Governance: Provide regular status reporting on ASPICE and ensure effective transition governance.

Required Skills & Tools:

  • ASPICE Expertise: Deep understanding of ASPICE
  • 3.1 /
  • 4.0 (VDA scope) and proven experience achieving Capability Level
  • 2.
  • Project Management: Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in tools like Jira and MS Project.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with codebeamer, Confluence, SharePoint, and Enterprise Architect/CAMEO.
  • Language Skills: Fluent German language skills are mandatory and excellent English proficiency is required.
  • Industry Standards: Experience with ISO 26262 and VW Q-LAHs is highly desirable.

Experience Level:

  • 8+ years of experience in the automotive domain, with a demonstrated history of ASPICE leadership or equivalent.

Reporting:

  • Reports to Program Manager / Head of Quality or eqivalent.
