The Role

We're looking for our first BDR. You'll be the person figuring out what outbound looks like at Duckie, working directly with leadership to get in front of the right people across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise.

What You'll Do

  • Own outbound across cold calls, email, and LinkedIn
  • Book and qualify meetings with Support Managers, VP CX, Heads of Operations, and technical buyers
  • Help figure out what's working: sequences, messaging, which personas respond and which don't
  • Share what you're hearing in the field so we can sharpen our pitch and product direction
  • Work closely with Head of GTM to make sure handoffs are tight and pipeline is real
  • Be the first impression prospects have of Duckie

What We're Looking For

  • 1 to 2 years of BDR or SDR experience in B2B SaaS
  • You're comfortable on the phone and not afraid to make a lot of calls
  • You can handle rejection and learn from it
  • You're coachable, curious, and want to understand the full sales motion
  • You have an insatiable desire to succeed

Nice To Haves

  • Some background in customer support or CX, either selling into those teams or having worked in them yourself
  • HubSpot experience is a plus
  • You know the support tech stack: Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, or similar
  • You can have a real conversation with a VP of CX about ticket deflection, CSAT, and agent efficiency without having to look things up
  • Bachelor's Degree
