A dynamic and growing CPA firm in Temple, TX is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, positive, and able to manage multiple clients efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Process weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and financial reporting
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve questions and clarify data
• Support clients with accounting software setup, training, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with CPAs and other team members to ensure accurate and timely client service

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a public accounting or multi-client setting
• Strong bookkeeping, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, or other accounting software programs
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must have the ability to work extra hours during tax season (January – April), which is very fast-paced
