About the Opportunity:
We are partnering with a well-established and industry-leading organization seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join its Finance & Accounting team. This role will support the preparation and analysis of external and internal financial reporting, including SEC filings and key management reporting packages. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical accounting foundation, experience working within fast-paced environments, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to expand their exposure within a highly visible finance function.
Salary Range: $85,000 – $90,000
Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable reporting requirements
• Assist with the development and completion of quarterly and annual external reporting deliverables, including SEC-related filings
• Compile and analyze financial data for recurring management reporting packages and executive presentations
• Perform technical accounting research and assist with documenting accounting conclusions for complex transactions and new guidance
• Monitor accounting standard updates and support implementation of reporting or process changes as needed
• Partner with internal and external audit teams during quarterly reviews and annual audit activities
• Support process improvement initiatives designed to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
• Create ad hoc financial analyses and reporting schedules to support leadership and strategic initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, finance, and operational teams to gather and validate financial information
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree preferred
• 3+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience within public accounting and/or industry environments
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with SEC reporting requirements
• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA preferred
• Prior experience with public accounting firms, including Big Four experience, is highly desirable
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with financial reporting and ERP systems is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
