As an OpenStack Cloud Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible, alongside your team, for managing the Private Cloud infrastructures at CGM.
Your Contribution
- Spearhead the provisioning and automation of cutting-edge servers and hardware, seamlessly integrating them into our advanced private cloud environments.
- Drive the innovation, manage and enhance the Private Cloud infrastructure that empowers all CGM employees across the organization.
- Utilize tools like Helm to establish robust automation processes, driving continuous improvement and efficiency throughout our technical workflows.
- Leverage your expertise in Ceph and object storage solutions to collaboratively elevate our storage infrastructure and optimize data management.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, while implementing effective monitoring and logging systems to ensure a consistently stable platform operation.
- A passion for and enthusiasm about new technologies related to Linux, OpenStack, and Kubernetes
- Strong experience in virtualization and cloud operations
- Scripting and programming skills, especially in Python
- Proven knowledge and practical experience in managing private cloud platforms
- Proficient in both German and English
