Senior .NET Software Developer

EmbedIT Vietnam is expanding its engineering team to deliver large-scale enterprise platforms and digital solutions for financial institutions across Southeast Asia.

As a Senior .NET Software Engineer, you will design and build backend services powering critical business processes, integrations, and mobile applications. You will work in a modern engineering environment combining scalable microservices with stable core systems, ensuring both innovation and reliability.

This role offers strong exposure to cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, and collaboration with international teams across multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using modern .NET (preferably .NET 6/8+)
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs to support scalable systems and integrations
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance in production environments
• Contribute to system design, including microservices and cloud-native architectures
• Work with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Analysts, and Product Owners across the delivery lifecycle
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and documentation
• Continuously improve systems by adopting modern technologies, CI/CD, and reducing technical debt

Your experience and skills

Mandatory

• 4+ years of experience in backend development with .NET
• Strong experience in building RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of software design principles and clean code practices
• Hands-on experience or exposure to microservices architecture
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and basic Kubernetes exposure is a plus
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., CosmosDB, MongoDB) or relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment

Nice to have

• Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably Azure, but AWS/GCP also acceptable)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
• Experience with distributed systems concepts (e.g., caching, messaging, pub/sub)
• Knowledge of Redis or other caching mechanisms
