Founding Engineer

Role Overview

You’ll join as a Founding Full-stack Engineer in Munich, building and scaling a deeply technical AI platform powering agent-based systems already delivering measurable impact for early customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of product features, from user-facing interfaces through to backend systems, ensuring performance and scalability
• Architect and develop the core services behind an AI-driven platform focused on observability and execution
• Bring agent-based infrastructure into production, covering orchestration, model interaction, and system reliability
• Contribute across the stack – from frontend experiences to backend logic and data layers
• Build systems with strong visibility in mind, ensuring reliability through monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Collaborate closely with founders on key technical decisions that will shape the product’s long-term architecture

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack engineering background with hands-on experience across modern web and backend technologies
• Proven experience working with Python, TypeScript, React, and relational databases
• Familiarity with backend frameworks and workflow orchestration tools in production environments
• Exposure to building applications powered by large language models or similar AI systems
• Experience delivering data-intensive systems or pipelines in real-world production settings
• Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure and modern deployment practices
• Preference for engineers who enjoy ownership, ambiguity, and building from early-stage foundations

Salary - €90,000-120,000
