What You’ll Do

• Establish systems, policies, and procedures to drive continual improvement of key functional business areas.
• Responsible for determining staffing requirements, interviewing, hiring, and new hire orientation.
• Oversee vendor agreements and contract negotiations to ensure strong working relationship and cost reductions where necessary.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing staff to develop and execute sales and marketing plans.
• Work with the operations team to ensure profitability and high customer satisfaction of moves.
• Responsible for employee accountability and adherence to franchise system standards & policies, as well as DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
• Responsible for employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs.
• Assist with Workers’ Compensation, Auto, and unemployment claims.
• Drive communication upward through monthly reports of all functional areas for executive review.
• Review financial statements, sales reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
• Responsible for the direction and day-to-day supervision of all management and office staff.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management or related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of business, management or other relevant experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example to motivate, develop and direct people.
• Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action.
• Strong decision-making ability.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
