Job Overview/Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Wellness Technician to support health promotion initiatives and wellness programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health or related disciplines, hands-on clinical experience, and the ability to effectively educate and engage adult learners in health and wellness topics.
Responsibilities
- Deliver wellness education sessions and training programs for adult learners
- Support health screenings and clinical wellness initiatives
- Assist in developing and implementing health promotion activities
- Provide guidance on fitness, nutrition, and overall health management
- Maintain accurate documentation of program activities and participant engagement
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance wellness outcomes
- Strong instructional and presentation skills for adult learners
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of health promotion, public health, and wellness practices
- Ability to conduct or support clinical wellness activities
- Minimum 2 years of experience in health, wellness, fitness, or related field
- Phlebotomy Certification
- CPR Instructor Certification
- CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist) Certification
- Fitness, Dietetics, or Health Coaching Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Health, Health Management, or related field (Required)
- Applicable clinical experience
- Demonstrated ability to teach and work effectively with adult learners
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in health, wellness, or fitness
