The Role

As a Full-Stack Developer at Matilda FoodTech, you’ll focus primarily on software development, working with our TypeScript/React.js/Node.js tech stack. You will:

• Design and develop features for our platform, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient solutions.
• Use AI-powered tools and techniques to streamline and improve development workflows, increasing productivity and accelerating delivery.
• Evaluate technical feasibility for new features and contribute to developing strategies for our hosting infrastructure.
• Work closely with other engineers to ensure that solutions are developed with high quality and efficiency.

Optionally, if you're interested, you can take on more responsibility in shaping product features and strategy, providing input on user stories, and working with the product management team. Our team operates in an agile environment with frequent collaboration and a focus on delivering quality solutions quickly.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-stack development, particularly meritorious with proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of SaaS architectures, RESTful API design.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar database technologies.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into robust and scalable solutions.
• Experience in agile environments and collaborative workflows.
• Proficiency in German, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.

It’s meritorious, but not mandatory, to have knowledge of AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or similar technologies to enhance development productivity. Previous experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry is also a plus.
