Title: Senior Supply Chain / Operations Analyst- PM
Location: onsite in Irving, TX 100% M-F (if not local must be open to relocating on own dime and must be onsite 2 weeks from offer day 1 of contract)
Type: Contract
Pay: $45-47.22/hr on w2
Hours: 7 am- 3pm
Length: 12 months-large possibility to extend
Screenings: full panel drug and background once hired
IV process: 2 rounds
+optional benefits, long term contract with ability to extend or convert to full time
Must Haves:
Education & Experience Required:
- Education & Experience requirement: MINIMUM Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, data analytics or a related field with 8 or more years related experience (must have a technical degree of some capacity) OR Master's degree in engineering, business administration or a related field with 5 or more years related experience
- Data Analytics; (Proficiency in Excel (Vlookups, Xlookups, pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc), PowerPoint, and Power BI)
- Ability to read part numbers and prints (very common in this role)
- Able to clearly communicate your findings and/or recommendations
- Cost Reduction
- Process Improvement
- Excel- advanced, Power BI, Microsoft suite
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that support cost leadership and competitive advantage.
- The Cost Lead plays a critical role in driving cost reduction initiatives across product groups within Resource Industries. This position focuses on identifying and executing opportunities using strategic tools such as should-cost analysis, order quantity optimization, similar part analysis, and multi-source arbitrage.
- Prepare clear, concise leadership summaries and executive-ready reports highlighting risks, savings opportunities, and performance metrics
- Key Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to create dashboards and power queries
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and Power Point
- Ability to create executive level summaries of data
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Collaborative and data-driven mindset
Typical task breakdown:
- Able to create dashboards to be able to monitor “project/ program health”
- Ability to find “trends” in the data
- Present findings and recommendations using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI in a polished executive ready format.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities across product groups

- Optimize order quantities and evaluate sourcing strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement cost-saving initiatives
Interaction with team:
- Frequent interaction/collaboration between product and category groups
Team Structure
- 5 people on the team, may partner with a senior lead on the team pending capabilities
Work environment:
- Office primarily (5 days per week in office)
