Your mission :


Our client is looking for a Senior System Engineer to join the Simulation team composed of 4 people. The team works closely with the Application team and is responsible for the technical infrastructure supporting simulation environments, from hardware up to the operating system.


Your tasks :


  • Support and maintenance of VMware infrastructure, virtual machines and physical hardware.
  • Administration of physical and virtual servers, from hardware layer up to the operating system.
  • Operating system configuration, management and deployment, mainly focused on: Windows Server, Windows clients / Windows 11, RedHat-based OS / RHEL 8.
  • Virtualized infrastructure administration, including VMware / vSphere.
  • Participation in the VMware migration from version 8 to version 9.
  • Infrastructure management, monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution.
  • Datacenter environment, including both virtual hosts and bare metal hosts.
  • SQL Server 2022 environment.
  • Automation and scripting, ideally with Ansible and/or PowerShell.
  • Tools and methodologies: Jira, Confluence, Agile / Scaled Agile Framework


Required Skills and experience :


  • A Senior System Engineer / Senior Infrastructure Engineer
  • Strong experience on Windows Server or RedHat / Linux
  • Experienced with VMware / virtualized infrastructure
  • Comfortable with production / critical environments
  • Hands-on, autonomous and problem-solving oriented
  • Able to interact with both technical and business teams
  • Comfortable in an Agile / SAFe environment
  • Fluent in English is a must
