Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Athletics Director/Director of Annual Giving, Operations and Events, the Associate Director of Athletics Events and Stewardship provide administrative and operational support for Athletics Development initiatives. The position assists with the execution of special events, donor stewardship programs, annual giving campaigns, and development operations functions. The Assistant Director supports day-to-day activities related to athletics events and logistics, donor stewardship, donor communications, marketing materials, and engagement initiatives designed to strengthen philanthropic support for Temple Athletics.

Job Details
- This position requires the following background checks: Cash Handling and Personal Identifiable Information background check.
- This position is 100% On-Site.
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least four (4) years of related experience in athletics administration, development, event management, or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience supporting events or fundraising initiatives preferred.
- Experience in intercollegiate athletics fundraising.
- Familiarity with higher education advancement operations and donor stewardship programs.
- Experience managing donor hospitality and athletic event engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting event logistics and donor engagement initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database systems.
