We are supporting a well-established financial institution, known for delivering high-quality banking services to institutional clients. With a strong focus on governance, risk, and regulatory excellence, they are looking to appoint a Head of Compliance & AML to lead their compliance function.

🧩 About the Role:

As Head of Compliance & AML, you will act as the independent second line of defence, ensuring full adherence to AML, KYC, and regulatory requirements.

You will:

• Lead and oversee all compliance and AML frameworks
• Act as the designated AML Officer.
• Develop internal policies and governance structures
• Manage relationships with regulators and external stakeholders
• Oversee compliance reporting and risk assessments

✅ Requirements:

• Law degree (or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum 5 years’ compliance experience within a recognised institution.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss and international AML/CTF regulations
• Strong analytical and communication skills

➕ Nice to Have:

• Previous AML Officer designation
• FINMA exposure highly desirable
• Experience with compliance tools
