Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Child and Family Therapist located in Orlando, FL. The therapist will provide therapeutic services, including play therapy and other evidence-based modalities, to children and families. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining detailed client records, collaborating with families and other professionals, and monitoring progress towards therapeutic goals. The therapist will be a vital part of the interdisciplinary team, helping to provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with Play Therapy and demonstrated ability to utilize creative therapeutic techniques
• Background in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling with strong organizational and documentation skills
• Proficiency in working with children and families to address their mental health needs
• Knowledge of mental health practices and tools necessary to provide effective therapy
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent in the state of Florida
• Open to Registered Interns based on experience (supervision included for Social Work or Mental Health interns)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to ethical and client-centered care
• Experience with trauma-informed care and cultural sensitivity is a plus
