Systems Operator - Night Shift

Position Summary
Responsible for all items related to the operation and maintenance of the BRT facility and packaging areas. Also responsible for advising maintenance and management of needed repairs as noted.
Pay And Benefits
- Starting wage $20.25/hr.
- Shift differential $1.50/hr

- Operate a forklift
- General facility clean up.
- Raw product transfer system/components.
- Ability to operate and monitor continuously of equipment and process conditions and product specifications.
- Understand production process and functionality of each piece of equipment.
- Trouble shoot and work on equipment, replace wear parts on equipment, cleanout equipment.
- Must be 18 years or older with High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexible and willing to accept changes on short notice.
- Willing and able to learn new technology.
- Possess at least basic computer skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Ability to meet the Physical Demands of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Climbing stairs and ladders
- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, gripping, and standing for long periods of time.
- Good vision (20/12 corrected or better) to perform visual product inspections
- Good sense of hearing, smell, and taste.
Will be exposed to a variety of different temperatures both inside and outside of the plant. Work environment is not climate controlled.
Required in all areas of the plant provided by Grain Millers
- Safety glasses
- Earplugs or muffs
- Bump cap
- Dust mask and/or respirator as required.
