- Own the end-to-end booking process for international ocean freight shipments (FCL/LCL), ensuring speed, accuracy, and compliance
- Optimize routing, carrier selection, and transit schedules to meet client expectations and maximize efficiency
- Audit shipment details (POs, SKUs, cargo specs) to ensure data integrity and operational accuracy
- Ensure full compliance with AMS, ISF, ACI (Canada), AFR (Japan), and global shipping regulations
- Proactively track and manage shipment milestones (gate-in/out, loaded, departures) and resolve exceptions in real time
- Monitor transshipments and sailing schedules, communicating delays and solutions to clients and internal teams
- Issue booking confirmations, loading updates, and revisions with precision and urgency
- Partner cross-functionally with documentation, operations, sales, and global agents to ensure seamless execution
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders, providing guidance on routing, pricing, and logistics strategy
- Some experience in ocean freight forwarding, international logistics, or supply chain operations
- Ability to manage high-volume shipments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with global teams and clients
- Sharp attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and execution
- Proficiency in logistics systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of global shipping routes, ocean carriers, and freight forwarding processes
- Working understanding of import/export compliance (AMS, ISF, customs requirements)
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
