The company is actively expanding its global investment activities and is seeking an experienced investment professional to join a highly strategic and internationally focused team.

Position Overview

This position focuses on cross-border investment origination, strategic stakeholder management, and investment execution support across a broad range of industries and global markets.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior internal stakeholders, external partners, private equity funds, advisors, financial institutions, and management teams to identify and evaluate investment opportunities.

The role is highly exposure-driven and suitable for candidates with strong relationship management capability, commercial mindset, and experience across M&A, private equity, strategic investments, or investment advisory.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate and evaluate cross-border investment and strategic partnership opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with private equity funds, investment banks, advisors, corporate executives, and strategic partners
• Support investment execution processes including financial analysis, valuation review, due diligence coordination, and internal stakeholder management
• Conduct market research and strategic analysis across multiple industries
• Manage communication with both domestic and overseas stakeholders
• Coordinate with global internal teams and external counterparties throughout transaction processes
• Monitor portfolio companies and support strategic initiatives post-investment where necessary
• Prepare investment materials and presentations for senior management and investment committees

Requirements Required

• Experience in private equity, strategic investments, investment banking, M&A advisory, corporate development, or related fields
• Strong understanding of investment processes and transaction execution
• Experience in stakeholder management and relationship-driven business activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent Japanese and business-level English
• Bachelor’s degree or above

Preferred

• Cross-border M&A or international investment experience
• Origination or business development experience
• Experience working with private equity funds or strategic investors
• Consulting or strategy background
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments
