Inbolt develops a real-time industrial robot guidance solution based on 3D vision and AI. Our mission is to create a vision system for industrial robots that enables robust real-time decision-making for any type of environment. Our flagship product, Inbolt, includes a 3D camera attached to a robotic arm and our software, Inbolt Studio. Our clients can train and integrate our solution with their robots.

There may occasionally be a need to work on holidays. We are looking for someone who can manage their schedule independently by taking compensatory days off when needed.

Responsibilities

As a Robotic Application Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying our solutions in customers' factories and ensuring their satisfaction. Your key duties will include:

  • Conducting on-site and off-site meetings with clients, necessitating frequent travel to customer sites

  • Managing customer demonstrations, client projects and technological developments

  • Overseeing the on-site installation of products and training customer teams

  • Deploying and monitoring production systems

  • Diagnosing, investigating, and addressing customer feedback regarding the use of Inbolt products

Requirements

  • Living in Japan

  • Complete fluency in Japanese.

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (valid passeport is needed)

  • Advanced programming skills in Python

  • Strong project management capabilities and hands-on understanding of robotics/computer vision

  • Commitment to maintaining high code quality and stability

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities

  • Background in new technologies, deep-tech, and manufacturing

  • Robot programming experience (FANUC, ABB, UR, etc.)
