Develop and deploy advanced AI/ML applications and systems utilizing AI tools, Cloud AI services, and production-ready cloud/on-premise pipelines. Apply Generative AI models as part of enterprise-grade solutions across domains, including Computer Vision, NLP, Speech Processing, Deep Learning, Multimodal AI, Agentic AI, Chatbots, and Intelligent Automation.

Educational Qualification

✔ Full-Time Ph.D. Mandatory in one of the following disciplines from premier institutes such as IITs, IISc, IIITs, or ISIs:

Role Overview

We are looking for a visionary AI Research & Innovation Lead to drive breakthrough innovations in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate will lead advanced AI research initiatives, develop novel algorithms, enhance existing models, and build scalable AI solutions for complex enterprise challenges.

This opportunity is part of Accenture’s Centre for Advanced AI (CAAI), where cutting-edge research meets real-world enterprise transformation.

The role spans multiple AI domains, including:

• Computer Vision
• Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Speech & Audio AI
• Multimodal AI
• Generative AI & Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Agentic AI – autonomous, goal-driven intelligent systems capable of reasoning, planning, and adapting dynamically

Key Responsibilities

• Lead advanced AI research initiatives and innovation programs
• Design and develop novel AI/ML algorithms and enterprise-grade solutions
• Build scalable AI applications for real-world business problems
• Collaborate with academia, Responsible AI teams, and enterprise delivery leaders
• Drive innovation across domains such as healthcare AI, digital assistants, intelligent automation, and enterprise agents
• Publish research papers in top-tier AI conferences and journals
• Mentor and guide high-performing AI research teams
• Contribute to AI strategy, architecture, and future technology roadmaps
• Develop production-ready AI pipelines on cloud and on-premise environments

Mandatory Requirements

✔ Full-Time Ph.D. from Tier-1 Institutes (IIT/IISc/ISI/IIIT)

✔ Minimum 15+ years of post-PhD industry/research experience

✔ Strong expertise in AI/ML research and enterprise AI implementation

✔ Hands-on experience with:
