Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all MEP activities from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out, ensuring compliance with project specifications and Holder standards.
- Provide direct supervision and guidance to MEP subcontractors and vendors, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, major equipment, lighting, fire alarm, security, building automation systems, CCTV, power distribution, and communication devices.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for MEP systems, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure strict adherence to QA/QC programs and support the Energy Control and Safety Program to maintain a zero-accident culture.
- Manage punch lists, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive timely resolution of challenges using all available resources.
- Oversee start-up and commissioning activities, ensuring systems meet performance and operational requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with owner representatives, architects, engineers, and clients while supervising subcontractors and vendors.
- Provide leadership in workforce planning, logistics coordination, and resource allocation for MEP activities.
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated MEP systems.
- Proven ability to manage complex MEP infrastructure projects such as data centers, stadiums, or other special-use facilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and commissioning protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools, QA/QC processes, and advanced commissioning procedures.
- Knowledge of safety programs and energy control requirements.
