We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy and lifecycle of a portfolio of physical consumer products within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for SKU portfolio management, product lifecycle planning, pricing strategy, and new product commercialization.

The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure our product portfolio meets market demand while driving profitability and operational efficiency.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of product strategy, manufacturing operations, and market insights.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of manufactured consumer products
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including product launches, improvements, and phase-out planning
  • Partner with Marketing to define the optimal product mix and SKU portfolio
  • Lead product portfolio reviews and SKU rationalization using profitability and demand analysis
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
  • Support pricing strategy and margin optimization
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and marketing teams
  • Support new product development and commercialization efforts
  • Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and demand forecasting processes
  • Drive product cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives


Preferred Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Line Management, or Category Management
  • Experience managing physical products or SKU portfolios
  • Background in consumer goods, durable goods, manufacturing, plastics, hardware, or industrial products
  • Experience working cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, and sales teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into product strategy


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field)
  • MBA or related certifications preferred

This role is best suited for candidates who have managed physical product portfolios within manufacturing or consumer goods environments.
