This position reports to the Senior Director of Product Development & Production
Please note that this is a hybrid position of 3-4 days/week in our Los Angeles office
What You'll Do
- Issue PO’s & manage PO log
- Negotiate and finalize costing, maintain cost log
- Effectively communicate all potential risks to timeline with Director of Production
- Maintain and update vendor WIPs on weekly basis; communicate to CFT as needed
- T&A ownership; outreach, lead time optimization, internal publishing
- Lead weekly WIP meetings with factory partners to ensure transparency on timelines, quality standards and troubleshoot any pending issues
- Source, develop, and negotiate for all packaging needs
- Monitor factory adherence to the vendor manual and chargeback agreements
- Work with planning team to distribute supplier projections to secure factory capacity
- Engage and facilitate daily communication with vendors to address all production related issues
- Initiate production fabric and garment testing, when applicable
- Work with third party and MeUndies QCs to ensure first quality production and shipping
- Own Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and present to vendors
- B.A or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in production, preferably imports
- In depth understanding of development and production calendars
- Strong comprehension of garment composition and quality control
- Ability to analyze apparel cost sheets
- Versed in managing a robust supplier base; fabric, trims, and manufacturing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, emphasis on international relationships
- Strong project management skills and experience managing CFT
- High attention to detail and deadline driven
- Strong organization skills
- Advanced Excel & G suite proficiency
- Deadline-driven with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to juggle competing priorities
- Underwear or intimates experience
- Wholesale experience
- Packaging development
- International travel
- Netsuite & Centric PLM experience
