Family: Operations and Administrative Services Position Overview The

Coordinator, Center for the Advancement of the Humanities supports

grant-funded work by providing collaborative administrative oversight

for two centers within the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences. The

coordinator supports grant management and office assistance related to

the development and management of the Centers\' mission and programming.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, scheduling events,

building handbooks and operational best practices, establishing and

maintaining listservs, and other office related tasks. The coordinator

will also help provide post-award grants management support to principal

investigator teams implementing grant operations in the post-award grant

stage. The coordinator will oversee the creation of grant invoices with

subawardees, develop grant contracts with community-based consultants,

coordinate distribution of graduate student stipends, and be the liaison

for the grant team with the Klingler College of Arts & Sciences and the

Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. They will also help provide

other office-related budget-based administration support as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities 1. Provide operational support to center

leadership, including drafting center handbooks, office policies, staff

and intern onboarding protocols, and managing center development goals.

  • Maintaining center calendars, coordinating advisory board meetings,

scheduling center events, and arranging center-related travel. 3.

Ordering office supplies, monitoring inventory, and ensuring office

equipment is functional. 4. Maintain and help assess monthly grant

budget statements; reconcile monthly revenue sheets and budget

expenditures; conduct periodic budget reporting; maintain and recording

projected annual grant budgets; process, reconcile, and record all

expenditures, including p-card statements and travel expenses in

collaboration with the Arts and Sciences Business Office team. 5.

Oversee purchasing and payment needs via COUPA system. Manage center

purchasing needs by adding vendors to the COUPA marketplace, creating

and submitting speaker contracts or other payment authorizations, and

tracking pay authorization workflow completion. 6. Collaborate with

campus stakeholders and community partners to build and develop

relationships and support shared goals and projects related to

undergraduate and graduate student internships. 7. Responsible for the

supervision of student employees which includes but is not limited to

hiring, training, disciplinary actions, ending the student\'s

assignment, etc. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Bachelor\'s

degree in Education; nonprofit or higher education leadership; program

administration; counseling; business; social sciences; or the

humanities. A minimum of two years of experience. Proficient with

Microsoft Office tools, Teams, Zoom, social media. Strong interpersonal

communication skills. High attention to detail, organization, and

project management. Knowledge of social justice and community engagement

Frameworks. Grant Budget Fluency. Preferred Knowledge, Skills And

Abilities Master\'s degree in Education, nonprofit higher education

leadership, program administration, counseling, business, social

sciences or the humanities. Nonprofit sector experience in the areas of

program leadership; program development, coordination, and delivery.

Experience with building office infrastructure, operations, and best

office practices. Experience with navigating complex institutional

bureaucracies to build and implement grant programs. Department: College
