General Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Implement internal controls and risk management policies.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide financial analysis to support senior management in strategic decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Hotel Sector Specific Responsibilities
- Oversee revenue management and track performance by revenue streams (rooms, F&B, banqueting, spa, etc.).
- Monitor occupancy rates, ADR (Average Daily Rate), RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room), and other hospitality KPIs.
- Implement internal controls for cash handling, guest billing, and credit management.
- Manage financial planning for renovations, upgrades, and expansion projects.
- Coordinate with operations on cost control for procurement, inventory, and vendor management.
- Support management in pricing strategies, promotions, and seasonal financial forecasting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred).
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance and hotel field .
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific software (PMS like Opera for hotels, ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High ethical standards and commitment to compliance.
