Private Client Director

Watson Style Group is a female-founded personal styling firm redefining luxury wardrobe transformation for UHNW women nationwide. We work with clients across the country, with studios in Chicago and New York.

We are hiring a Private Client Director to join our leadership team.

THE ROLE

The Private Client Director is a senior client-facing leadership role for an advisor who has spent years building deep, trusted relationships with UHNW women through luxury retail or a luxury fashion house. You are likely currently a top Personal Client Advisor, Senior Personal Shopper, Personal Stylist, or Client Relations Manager at a retailer such as Bergdorf Goodman, Moda Operandi, Saks Fifth Avenue, or Neiman Marcus — or at a comparable luxury fashion house such as Prada, Dior, Khaite, or Brunello Cucinelli.

You are a stylist first, but more than a stylist — you are a trusted advisor, a confident operator, and a relationship leader. You bring taste, trust, and tenacity. You deliver results.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Deliver exceptional personal styling experiences with deep fluency in luxury fashion, fit, fabrication, and lifestyle-specific solutions — across in-person sessions, virtual touchpoints, and ongoing wardrobe relationships.

• Manage a portfolio of UHNW client relationships, with precision, warmth, and discretion.

• Curate every look. Final selection. Foundation outfit construction. Lookbook quality control.

• Lead and delegate in partnership with Assistant Stylists.

• Solve complex client and business challenges with creativity, grace, and a proactive mindset.

WHAT SETS WATSON APART

• The platform multiplies you. Operational work, pulling looks, assembling lookbooks, tracking orders — moves to your styling assistant and the platform. Your output per client is dramatically higher.

• You access 20+ retailers, not one. Watson shops across the full luxury landscape, including exclusive trade partnerships your clients cannot access independently.

• Watson delivers the experience your clients already wish they had. Custom and limited-run brand coordination, tailoring and cobbling logistics, closet digitization, custom digital lookbook, travel capsule packing, returns — all branded Watson, all part of the relationship you own.

• You are compensated like a senior advisor. Tiered residual commission that compounds, not the short windows standard in retail.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Five or more years in luxury personal styling or high-touch client advisory, preferably as a top performer at one of the retailers or houses noted above

• Proven success building and maintaining long-term relationships with UHNW women

• Deep luxury fluency — fashion, fit, fabrication, and the rhythms of the UHNW lifestyle

• Strong taste, exceptional judgment, and a genuine love for the craft

• Discretion, professionalism, and poise at every touchpoint

• A natural ability to connect, communicate, and convert

COMPENSATION

• $130,000 base salary

• $265K+ OTE at full carry — uncapped

• Tiered residual commission on collected program revenue. The book you grow continues to pay you for the life of the relationship.
