- Provide direct support, supervision, and protective oversight to individuals served
- Promote member independence and support accomplishment of personal goals
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring safety and dignity
- Onboard, train, and mentor new Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) assigned to your house
- Collaborate with Team Lead or Assistant Manager on staffing, attendance, and performance issues
- Act as a liaison between families, administration, and individuals served to ensure consistent, quality care
- Maintain strong communication and leadership within the team
- Support a positive and professional team culture focused on person-centered care
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership capacity and direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons 65 and older.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance in the state you are employed.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English (reading and writing) with ability to comprehend documents.
- Medication Management Administration certificate within 90 days of hire.
- Active Mandatory Reporter Certification preferred.
