We are supporting a client who help transform the future of clinical research and healthcare innovation They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Machine Learning Engineer to join a growing digital health and AI team focused on improving clinical trial efficiency, accelerating development timelines, and reducing operational costs through advanced AI and machine learning technologies.

This role is ideal for a strong software engineer with experience building production-grade ML systems, modern deep learning applications, and scalable cloud infrastructure. You will work on complex healthcare and life sciences challenges while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, data science, and business functions.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design, deployment, and maintenance of AI-driven solutions that support digital transformation initiatives within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced machine learning models and AI-based systems for healthcare-related use cases.
• Translate analytical and experimental models into scalable production environments.
• Lead the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation, model deployment, and monitoring.
• Build and maintain data pipelines supporting model training and operational deployment.
• Develop production-ready software and infrastructure using modern engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
• Mentor colleagues and support knowledge sharing across technical and non-technical teams.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives within a highly collaborative environment.
• Stay up to date with developments in AI, machine learning, cloud technologies, and software engineering.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
• Strong commercial experience delivering production-ready machine learning and data science solutions.
• Advanced Python programming skills and experience with relevant ML/data science libraries.
• Experience developing and deploying APIs and backend services.
• Knowledge of software testing frameworks and engineering best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
• Strong SQL and database experience.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Hands-on experience working with AI tools, large language models (LLMs), or generative AI applications.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

• Cloud platform certifications.
• Experience with strongly typed programming languages.
