At Lunar we are democratizing the power of money and changing the way we all bank, pay, and invest. Since starting in Aarhus in 2015, we've grown rapidly and are now a major player in the Nordics, with offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Stockholm 馃殌
So who are we? Are we a tech company or a bank? Well, we're both, breaking free from the usual categories. Here, tech isn't just a cool add-on; it's the core of how we do things. With our own banking license, we go head-to-head with traditional banks. What sets us apart is the mix of tech and financial services, giving us the power to shake up a dusty industry that's ready for a change.
As we continue our journey to becoming the best everyday bank in the Nordics, we are looking for a Senior Accountant with focus on our Swedish entity to support our accounting team with bookkeeping tasks and help streamline our financial processes.
As our new Senior Accountant, you will join our Finance team in Copenhagen, reporting to Britta Kastler. The team is based in Copenhagen and works across multiple entities focusing on maintaining smooth and accurate accounting operations within the broader Finance function, led by Robert Stambro, CFO.
What will you do?
- Manage daily bookkeeping in accordance with the Swedish Accounting Act (Bokf枚ringslagen)
- Handle monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Execute month-end tasks including accruals (periodiseringar) and prepayments
- Prepare the year-end closing (Bokslut) and draft the initial figures for the Annual Report (脜rsredovisning).
- Coordinate with external auditors, preparing the audit file (revisionsakt) and providing necessary documentation to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
- Support the production of the Statutory Administration Report (F枚rvaltningsber盲ttelse), ensuring all Swedish disclosure requirements are met.
- Issue invoices and oversee Accounts Receivable incl customer aging
- Bridge Swedish GAAP and Group Standards: Learn to navigate the differences between local Swedish standards (K3) and IFRS for group reporting purposes
