Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Assembler, either mechanical or electrical, to help us assemble and deliver projects in a timely manner.


Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday; Saturday shift is available periodically when business needs demand it
  • 40 hours per week plus overtime when business needs demand it
  • Flexible work hours and start time (Start anytime between 5:00AM and 8:00AM)


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assemble mechanical and/or electrical subassemblies and complete machine systems from engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of materials
  • Fit, align, and adjust mechanical components including frames, drive systems, actuators, bearings, and precision hardware to specified tolerances
  • If electrical, route, terminate, and label electrical wiring, conduit, and cable trays per NEC standards and internal wiring diagrams
  • Identify and communicate fit, interference, or design issues to engineering during build, and assist in developing workable solutions
  • Use overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts to safely handle and position large machine components (forklift cert a plus)
  • Comply with all safety rules at all times, including proper PPE (face-shield, gloves, etc.)
  • Act in a manner that results in collaboration, teamwork, and respect toward all internal and external contacts
  • Other duties as assigned


Required qualifications

  • Knowledge of pneumatics and general machine plumbing
  • Provide your own tools/toolbox
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including engineering drawings (mechanical) or schematics (electrical)


Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to do basic machining or fabrication to modify parts, make small brackets, etc.
  • If mechanical, willing to learn and do electrical
  • If electrical, willing to learn and do mechanical
  • Willingness to travel in a company vehicle on a limited basis to customer facilities to assist with machine service
