Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resources operations.


Responsibilities

  • Maintains employee records in the HRIS database and paper files.
  • Processes new hire, change, and termination paperwork
  • Performs customer service functions by responding to employee requests and questions
  • Provides administrative support such as filing worker’s compensation claims, scheduling drug tests, posting jobs, creating leave of absence letters, offer letters, and other correspondence.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process
  • Conducts new employee orientation as needed
  • Serves as a backup to payroll
  • Assists with other HR duties as requested
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • College degree in HR or related field strongly preferred or equivalent experience
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Effectively manage and communicate information across a network of companies.
  • Partner with managers with a customer service approach
  • Professional demeanor and character, proactive and able to take initiative
  • Prioritize and complete tasks as a team player while delivering results
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade decision makers
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent consulting, and critical thinking skills
