This full-time role involves working directly with educational staff and students to ensure reliable operation of IT systems and technology. You will work with a variety of devices including PCs, Macs, tablets, AV equipment, and networked infrastructure, supporting the educational mission through effective technology service and support.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and friendly onsite technical support to educational users including staff and students
- Support and troubleshoot hardware and software across PCs, Macs, tablets, and associated classroom technology
- Assist with setup, maintenance, and repair of Audio Visual (AV) and other educational technology
- Develop strong rapport with end-users to encourage feedback and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve support processes and documentation
- Manage technology incidents to resolution and liaise with third-party vendors when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and solutions to facilitate effective knowledge sharing
- Passion for exceptional customer service with experience supporting users in education or similar environments
- Strong troubleshooting abilities across hardware and software platforms, including both Windows and Mac environments
- Good understanding of educational technology such as AV equipment and interactive devices
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
