Roundtree Search is partnering exclusively with a leading Australian alternative investment manager to appoint a Senior Director, Private Capital. This is a rare senior leadership opportunity for an experienced capital raiser to take ownership of private wealth distribution and help shape the long-term investor strategy of a growing real estate private credit platform.

What you'll be doing

• Own and lead capital raising across the private wealth channel — private banks, wealth advisers, family offices and high-net-worth investors
• Drive fundraising across senior, mezzanine and structured development finance strategies
• Build and execute domestic and selected offshore distribution strategies
• Develop strategic partnerships with private banks, wealth management firms and investment advisory groups
• Lead investor roadshows, presentations and one-on-one meetings with prospective and existing capital partners
• Collaborate with the Origination team to translate pipeline and portfolio performance into compelling investor propositions
• Oversee the development of all investor-facing materials including presentations, fund updates and due diligence responses
• Provide market intelligence on investor sentiment, competitive dynamics and capital flows to inform strategy and product development

What we're looking for

• Significant experience in private capital raising with a strong focus on private wealth distribution
• Established network across private banks, wealth advisers, family offices and high-net-worth investors
• Proven track record raising capital for alternative investments — ideally within private credit or real estate strategies
• Deep understanding of Australian real estate debt markets and private capital structures
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex investment strategies into clear investor propositions
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills
• Comfortable operating with a high degree of seniority, autonomy and accountability
