Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- MRI advanced level certification and state licensure.
- 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Experience with EPIC charting system required.
- CT and X-ray certifications required to support Level II trauma coverage.
- MRI experience of at least 2 years required if candidate does not hold MRI certification (MRI certification preferred).
- Ability to perform CT, X-ray (including OR), and MRI preferred. MRI certification preferred but optional when 2+ years MRI experience is demonstrated.
- Driver's license required at submittal to verify radius rule compliance (50-mile radius from facility).
- Candidates may not be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity.
- Compliance with facility fingernail policy: artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Primary specialty: MRI Technologist.
- Shift name: Nights.
- Shift hours: 1800–0600.
- Shift pattern: 7 days on, 7 days off; typical weekly schedule begins Thursday evening through the following Wednesday evening.
- Typical weekly scheduled days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday evenings per assignment notes.
- Orientation hours: 12.
- Guaranteed hours: 38 hours per week.
- Cancellation policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment; fewer cancellations apply for shorter assignments.
- No on-call expectations for these staff.
- Must be willing to provide CT and X-ray coverage in addition to MRI as needed to support Level II trauma and neurosurgery services.
