Data Engineer
Indexed description
Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions across the data platform, working in an environment centered around Snowflake, SQL-based data platforms, Dremio, OvalEdge, and Azure Data Factory. You will contribute to how data is ingested, modelled, transformed, governed, and exposed for downstream consumption and you will help drive the continuous improvement of data architecture patterns, pipeline reliability, and solution quality.
You will be equipped with the scope and trust to make meaningful technical contributions. Your work will directly influence data quality, platform reliability, and the ability of the organization to make confident, data-driven decisions.
About You
You bring 7 or more years of solid, hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, data integration or analytical platform development. You have strong engineering fundamentals, sound technical judgment, and the ability to work effectively across technologies, stakeholders and business domains.
You are confident designing, developing, and maintaining solutions in Snowflake, SQL-based database environments and related data platform components. You understand how to build and operate data pipelines, ingestion flows, and orchestration processes, including with Azure Data Factory or similar tooling and you apply solid data modelling and data warehousing principles to structure data for scalable and reliable downstream use.
You apply analytical thinking to diagnose performance issues, improve transformation logic and optimize pipeline execution. You are methodical in your approach to testing, validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting and you bring familiarity with metadata, lineage, governance, and documentation practices in a data and analytics environment.
Your communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively with architects, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders, translating requirements into sustainable technical solutions and communicating progress, risks and trade-offs clearly across cross-functional and cross-geographical teams.
Above all, you are responsible, humble, and forward-leaning - comfortable using modern AI-assisted ways of working, including copilots, automation, and emerging agentic workflows, to improve engineering productivity, solution quality and problem-solving and motivated to keep learning as tools and ways of working evolve.
