Account/Finance Executive

Our client is a Singapore-based company incorporated in 2015 and is part of the global specialty chemicals industry. The company operates as a manufacturer of basic chemicals, with a strong focus on sodium-based mineral products such as sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate.

Responsibilities:

Handle full sets of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable

Perform month-end closing independently with minimal supervision

Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

Liaise directly with external auditors, tax agents, government authorities and Group Finance on accounting and statutory matters

Assist in quarterly GST computation and corporate tax matters

Support year-end audit activities and statutory reporting requirement

Perform inventory reconciliation and support stock take exercises

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Maintain proper bookkeeping and accounting documentation

Participate in process improvements and system enhancements initiatives

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as required by Managing Director.
